At Zoar Methodist Church, we may not be the largest congregation, but we believe that the strength of our ministries lies in our heart to serve and our unwavering commitment to Christ. We are a church that strives to reflect the love and grace of Jesus in everything we do, reaching out to everyone, regardless of where they are in life.

Our ministries are designed to serve all ages, all backgrounds, and all walks of life. We know that we are not perfect, but we serve a perfect Savior. We are continually growing, not because of who we are, but because of what Christ is doing in and through us. Each day, we seek to be more like Him—extending kindness, love, and hope to everyone we encounter.

Kid & Youth Ministry

We are dedicated to ensuring that our children and youth grow in the knowledge and love of Christ. They are not just the church of tomorrow; they are today's church. We strive to make them feel valued and loved. Through our Youth Group, Children's Church, and various events and outings, we actively seek ways to pour into their lives, helping them experience the love of God in meaningful ways. OUT REACH MINISTRIES

At Zoar Methodist Church, we believe true service comes from a heart of love and compassion. Our ministries are an extension of Christ's hands, reaching out to those in need and demonstrating His love. While small in size, we strive to make a big impact locally and globally.

Our Outreach Ministries Include:

Backpack Ministry: Providing essential school supplies to children in our community. We provide 73 bags each week for Edwards Elementary. We hope the this ministry not only nourishes a child but it fills their souls with the love of Jesus.
Prayer Shawl Ministry - A dedicated group of ladies prayerfully create these shawls, each one a tangible reminder of God’s presence and care. When someone wraps themselves in a prayer shawl, they are enveloped in prayers and love—just as God wraps us in His protection: “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge.” – Psalm 91:4 ~ These shawls serve as a reminder that no one walks alone, and that just as God’s love covers us, so does the warmth and support of our church family.
Connie Maxwell Children’s Home: Partnering with a local organization to support children in need.
Operation Christmas Child (Shoe Boxes): Sending gift-filled shoeboxes to children worldwide, sharing Christ's love.
Thanksgiving Boxes: Offering Thanksgiving meals to families in need.
Food to the Local Food Bank: Donating food to support local families.

Our goal is simple: to serve others as Christ did. By extending love and grace, we seek to make a lasting impact.

Men's Ministry

Join us as we gather together, embodying the spirit of Proverbs 27:17 - "iron sharpens iron We believe in the power of community and support, and we invite more men to be a part of this ministry. Together, we can grow stronger and make a difference. The men of Zoar meet with Brocks Mill Baptist & Westfield Creek Baptist on the first Monday of each month. This group is known as BWZ. Women's Ministry

At Zoar Methodist Church, we believe every woman has a unique role in God’s kingdom, and we’re dedicated to providing a space where women can grow in their faith, connect with one another, and experience the love of Christ. Our Women’s Ministry is all about encouragement, support, and spiritual growth.

Pastoral Support

At ZMC, we believe in the importance of community and support among brothers and sisters in Christ. We are committed to ensuring that all shut-ins, the sick, and those in need receive regular visits and encouragement.
